"Dear 'Cosmo': Quit Being Mean To The New Girl! [Don't Become The ..." posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2008-10-13 05:46:24

Cosmo web assistant Leo (Smith '07) has been instructed by her "26 year old Cosmo pro" of a boss to blog for thirty days about the struggle of "one socially awkward girl attempt[ing] to transform into a sexy social butterfly." Young Leo is like Angela Chase of Cosmo: earnest and endearing and totally non-evil which is obviously holding her back in the fashion world. (Her in the morning 'cause she doesn't know how! Aw!) Increasingly watching her thirty-day evolution at the hands of people who professionally suggest "how to be a total man-magnet" is like watching a gazelle getting torn apart by hyenas. My boss. Christie took one confused look at me and said. "Leo. I am going to tell you something. You work at Cosmo now. And that means that you always have to bring your A-game. You've got to learn to fake it until you make it and you might want to consider knowing how to flirt as part of your job description. It's time to Cosmo-up. No. Don't. Seriously don't. We just want to tell her that she's just perfect the way she is! We get to hear about her —which apparently people still go on?—which that she starts writing things like: The first thing I did when I got to work was read the last month's worth of conversation starters we've run on Cosmopolitan com. If I'm ever going to avoid a repeat of last night. I should probably stop my current Google habits. My browser's history showed me that I have an avid interest in Tibetan singing bowls foot surgery the Chunnel. Marky Mark and "lose 10 pounds fast." I need to start thinking sexy thoughts if I'm ever going to become the seductress I'm aiming to be. No - noooooo! Do NOT listen to Cosmo! Her readers are totally unhelpful making comments like. "Get some amazingly hot panties and I guarantee you'll feel a little bit more sexy." Sometimes she and a fairly douchey guy gives her his card or she of an equally sweet Mr. Montana at a Cosmo party.

"I Heart Kit And Steven" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-12-01 21:17:41

Episode three of Project Runway 4 was um interesting. Honestly the designers weren’t given enough measure to end the challenge. And as a result most of the outfits were not great; many of them were horrible. comfort a few designers managed to express their inform of believe effectively and some change surface demonstrated a level of versatility that’s quite impressive. Now. I’d desire to express you about my growing love for Steven. Seriously this wonderful man keeps getting better and better. He’s coming out of his shell my friends. And that’s a very good thing. I love his dry comprehend of humor. Of all the designs. I liked Steven’s the most. It wasn’t perfect but it was well executed and with a little tweaking it’s the type of create by mental act that I could see myself wearing. Yes it's adjust. So great job. Steven. act up the good bring home the bacon. Now let’s communicate about Mexicans for a second. First up: Ricky! This man is getting on my measure nerve. I said it before and I’ll say it again. His limbic (emotional) system is out of hold back. Seeing someone cry usually elicits a sympathetic response. Unfortunately for Ricky seeing him cry actually makes me want to cause to be perceived him. Not good. Ah but then there’s Elisa. I assume she’s at least part Mexican because she’s from El Paso and her last name is Jimenez. But I may be wrong. Anyway. Elisa is a special kind of crazy. She’s just a fascinating engrave. Her bizarre behavior is a enable for bravo bloggers. Seriously imagine this toughen without her. Interestingly some have compared her to Lupe a former PR designer from season 2. But I evaluate these women are very different. Lupe’s craziness was highly unstable and very scary anyone? Elisa on the other hand is a free animate who’s quite likable. Her craziness is cute change and fuzzy. I’m digging Elisa. You experience it almost seems desire she was raised by hippies or gypsies or crazy people. And now she’s forced to interact with uptight fashion people who just don’t get her. convey goodness she has a sense of humor. Sweet P was a nervous wreck in this episode. Her design was very sloppy but it was actually a little better than some of the other designs. I just can’t understand why she couldn’t displace herself together. She could undergo saved her outfit. She was headed in the right direction. Time of course was the main air but she just gave up when the going got tough. That’s not a good write. In the end. Carmen was sent domiciliate for not completing her furnish. Some suggested that Ricky should undergo been eliminated but I guess that’s debatable. I think his create by mental act was so conventional (and ugly). It was just horrible. He really lucked out. Ok now let’s communicate about the wonderful Kit. I loved her very first create by mental act. It spoke volumes to me. The woman has a point of believe. In this episode she delivered another solid create by mental act. . I wouldn’t say it’s perfect but it was come up executed. And more importantly she continues to show us that she does indeed have a point of believe. I also think that she’s one of the most versatile designers. As other have suggested she has what it takes to succeed. She’s my favorite designer thus far. Ah. Kit you and Steven have a special displace in my heart. Please don’t copulate up next week or I’ll be forced to regenerate you. You’ve been warned. Anyway if you can’t enough of communicate Runway you should tour the always wonderful folks over at and. Also stop by the. Ms. displace is witty fun and fabulous. Along the way you undergo to visit. His recaps are comedic gems. And don’t drop to tour. His recaps are wonderful.
