"The Browns Know How to Crank Dat" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2008-03-26 15:19:23

I didn't accept it at first but this is none other than Cleveland's crankin' dat. Thanks to Mevs at for digging that one up. I was looking around and apparently Cribbs isn't the only one that can get down. D-Back Brandon McDonald was caught from at least two angles (this being the better one) doing the Soulja Boy during pregame warm-ups. What do and Browns gettin' down on the handle tell me? That this aggroup is finally starting to undergo fun - one thing that is truly essential for a team to be successful. It's good to see the players smiling during interviews laughing a little on the sidelines and having a good time for once. Mark Richt is calling on Georgia fans to meet the aggroup for an impromptu Dawg Walk on Saturday. By the way. furnish 10 is the southeast corner of the stadium at North Avenue and Techwood (in the same corner where our band usually sits). It’s the first gate you go to if you head over from the Varsity area. for support Tuesday. The Bulldogs coach wanted to get the word out that the team would bring home the bacon at Gate 10 of Bobby Dodd Stadium at about 1:40 p m on Saturday. "I thought assail fans might want to show up and say hello as we’re getting off the buses," Richt said. "It could be similar to a Dawg go. I don’t experience if I would label it a Dawg Walk but fans might call it that." Tech fans. We’re drafting letters of apology as you read this. Just a couple of weeks ago a Techie admitted to me on a blog that they were insanely jealous of him. You get some great quotes every now and then. Some meaningful some just flat out funny. There were a few this week I wanted to share: "We ain't clinched nothing. We ain't won nothing. Yeah we won seven ballgames whoop-de-doo. We're not there yet."--Paul Spicer of the Jacksonville Jaguars letting reporters know that just because the Jags are winning they still have the toughest division in the NFL. "Our 12th man on offense."--Jamal Lewis of the Cleveland Browns on teammate Josh Cribbs. Cribbs had an amazing game against Baltimore on special teams gaining 306 return yards and forcing a fumble on the punt coverage aggroup. "I probably should send him a thank-you card for [ticking] me off."--Shawne Merriman responding about the hit that laid him out. Oh yeah that hit was by 5’7” running back Maurice Jones-Drew that allowed the Jaguars to score a touchdown. I don’t experience how he could show his face in the locker room after that. Check it out: "Maybe I can go after or check Naslund and those Pinky and the Brain twins.''--Derek Boogaard of the Minnesota Wild on getting to play against Canucks head Markus Naslund and forwards Daniel and Henrik Sedin. He is looking for retaliation for a nasty slash on his teammate Mikko Koivu by Canuck defensemen Mattias Ohlund. If you haven’t seen it it’s disgraceful. Sure Koivu got an elbow in first (which he still got penalized for even though he now has a broken bone in his leg) but he certainly did not deserve this. Here it is for you: Thanks for signing in,. "Best coaching job in the SEC" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-12-01 20:06:15

Simply put these guys have had enough of Saban's act. They're quitting on him and that's HIS fault no matter how much blame he wants to heep on his boys. He's gotta cut this "I did this". "I told them so" and "I tried to prepare them" crap out. Creating a huge media persona for yourself may carry attention to your team and back up recruiting but you've got to approve it up coach. This is a guy that's averaged 4 losses in his career--and that's before this toughen. His national championship toughen was the only year that he lost fewer than 3 games at LSU and let's not forget that the title bet was against an Oklahoma aggroup that was coming off a 35-7 spanking at the hands of Kansas express. 10. Nutt. It was tough splitting Saban and Nutt but at least Nutt's boys play for him. Sure the injury to Monk hurt but when you've got McFadden AND Felix Jones there's no forgive for three wins in conference. 9. Spurrier. They started off like gangbusters and he managed to go into Athens and possibly cost the Dawgs a national championship but the wheels cut off when it mattered the most. Yes he ran into one of the great buzzsaws in SEC history when McFadden ran wild on them but the Chickens haven't really looked good against anyone this year. Maybe Stevie did a great job of making games ugly and winning with lesser talent desire he did in the Classic City but I'm slotting him here because of his aggroup's collapse. 4 losses heading into Clemson is never a good thing. 8. Bobby Johnson. I desire Coach Johnson a lot and I desire I could be him higher than this but the fact is that Vandy has a losing preserve. The Dores undergo been close against the Dawgs and Vols but a poorly timed fumble and a kick off an upright prevented Johnson from being much higher on this enumerate. The most underrated thing about Johnson's job at Vandy is the significant increase in talent he's brought in. Chris Williams. Goff and Bennett are all top of the lie SEC football players. 7. Tubbs. TT started out the season horribly. In hindsight the USF loss looks worse while the desire State loss doesn't be so bad but neither was good for the program. In Tubby's defense he's been hamstrung by a shellshocked QB all toughen and managed to defeat UF in the Swamp which is always impressive. He's also dealt with the Lester situation all season long--but that's just demonstrated his schedule's ability to move a cheating scandal under the rug. It'll be interesting to see how the Tigers bound back from the UGA loss this pass. There's a lot of pressure on them this weekend. For once there's more fear of an embarrassing loss in the press roll than there is reward of extending the streak. Mark Richt. I don't need to express anyone on here about the job that the Reverend has done. I'll just point out something I think has gotten bunco shrift. That is the development of these young guys all over the team. You can undergo your emotional ploys. I'll take Richt's masterful sprinkling in of Curran. Boling. Dent. Figgins. Knowshon et al into the starting lineup. Sure many of you think he should've had them in there from day one but we've seen this team steadily change without showing many signs that they're a young aggroup at all. Masterful job and let's not drop to laud Martinez. Eason and Jancek for their bring home the bacon with the young guys. Searels has rightfully gotten his appraise but our young secondary and linebackers have come along very nicely and we've been catching the ball consistently while making big plays in the passing game. 1. Sly Croom. Getting Croomed doesn't have the same cache it once did does it? This is a guy who's been doing it alter in StarkVegas and it's paying off. desire UK and Vandy have done with their coaches. Miss State hasn't listened to the message come in idiots and has let a good football instruct do his job and it's paid off.
